Selenium is an important trace mineral which is low in the soil of both New Zealand and Australia. This powerful antioxidant helps to provide your cells with protection from free radical damage and is an important component of the enzyme glutathione peroxidase.
Selenium also helps to recycle other antioxidants in the body like vitamin E.
Each tablet provides:
Selenium (yeast-free L-selenomethionine) 100mcg
Other Ingredients: Dicalcium phosphate and microcystalline cellulose (bulking agents), silicon dioxide and vegetable magnesium stearate (anti-caking agents), cellulose gum.
Contains No: Gluten, wheat, dairy, soy, yeast, preservatives, sweeteners, artifical flavours or colours.
Caution: Selenium - This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded. Always read the label and use as directed. Vitamins and minerals are supplementary to and not a replacement for a balanced diet. If symptoms persist, see your healthcare professional.
