Alpha-lipoic acid is a powerful antioxidant that is both water and lipid-soluble. Alpha-lipoic acid is a cofactor in the process of energy production in the body and also helps to support glucose metabolism.
In addition, alpha lipoic acid also promotes the production of the essential endogenous antioxidant glutathione and recycles both fat and water-soluble vitamins.
Biotin is added to support the optimal activity of alpha-lipoic acid.
